  1. Before beginning Cannon Fodder for the first time, please view
  2. the file CANNON.DOC (To do this type: TYPE CANNON.DOC|MORE)

  4. If you encounter problems running Cannon Fodder there may be
  5. insufficient low memory available.  Cannon Fodder requires 580K
  6. free RAM.  Here's a possible way to solve the problem. Place a
  7. blank diskette into drive A of your computer.
  8. Then type:
  9.    FORMAT A: /S /U
  10. and press enter.  When the computer is finished, type:
  11.    EDIT A:\CONFIG.SYS
  12. and press ENTER.  Then type the following lines:
  13.  
  14.    DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
  15.    DOS=HIGH
  16.  
  17. Then press the following keys: ALT, F, X, Y. Reboot your computer
  18. leaving the disk in the A: drive.  Load your mouse driver.  Go to the
  19. Cannon Fodder directory and type SETUP to configure the game.  After
  20. installation, type CANNON to play the game.  Whenever you want to
  21. play Cannon Fodder, simply reboot your computer with the boot disk
  22. you've created.
